01Who is responsible
The Media Experts company you deal with is responsible for your personal data: Media Experts LLC (New Mexico, USA) for clients and enquirers outside India, and Media Experts for those in India.
02What we collect
From the brief form: your name, work email, company or website, country, the services you are interested in and what you write about your business.
From our work together: the messages, documents and approvals in your project thread, and the details needed for contracts and invoices.
From visits to this site: technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, recorded by our hosting provider and by Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site.
03How we use it
To reply to your brief, prepare proposals, deliver and support projects, issue invoices, keep the records the law requires, and keep this site secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
04Legal basis
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies: replying to your brief and delivering a project rely on taking steps toward, and performing, a contract with you; invoices and records rely on legal obligations; site security relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe.
Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies, we process your data for the purpose you gave it for, with the consent you give when you send it.
05Client project data
During a project we may handle data your business holds about its own customers. We handle it only on your written instructions, inside accounts that belong to you, and only for the work. We do not use it to train systems for anyone else, and we keep no copy after handover.
06Who we share it with
Service providers that run this site and our work: hosting, Cloudflare, email and document tools. Each handles the data on our behalf under its own data protection terms. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
07International transfers
Our two companies operate from the USA and India, and our providers may store data in other countries. Where data moves between countries, we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as standard contractual clauses.
08How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twelve months. Project records and invoices are kept for as long as tax and company law require, then deleted.
09Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or limit how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it.
Send the request through the contact page; we reply in writing within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10Cookies and storage
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie, and Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies. Your browser keeps one small item for the length of your visit so the opening animation plays once.
11Security
Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it for the work, connections to this site are encrypted, and logins to client systems are requested in writing and removed when the work ends.
12Children
This site and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
13Changes to this policy
The date at the top shows the current version. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we tell you in writing.
14Contact
